It’s reported that Chung Hung Steel, one of the major re-rollers in Taiwan announced to raise its prices for hot rolled and cold rolled coils by NT$650/ton and NT$450/ton respectively for February.

Also, Chung Hung Hung Steel hiked its exports prices by US$30/ton for February.

After the price rise, Chung Hung Steel’s list prices for hot rolled coils reached NT$18,500/ton and its list prices for hot rolled coils are at NT$21,200/ton.

Chung Hung Steel stated that it deiced to raise the steel prices for February in order to reflect higher steel prices in global market.
